Arman's Best Blog Entries

Lately, I have been going through and going back and grading past blog entries that I have done. So far, I have graded the first 25 blog entries. I offer a commentary which sometimes offers new insights into my blog and gives my overall thoughts on those entries. To see the first 25 entries that I graded please click here http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2011/6/18/the-best-of-armans-blog-continued.html and click here for the first part http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2011/4/28/the-best-of-the-best-of-armans-blog.html

Today, I will continue this tradition by grading even more of my blog entries. For some reason, I find this a very addicting exercise, and I quite enjoy going back and looking at what I wrote and deciding if it was good or not.

Now, on with the show.

Entry 26: I Want to Be Like You--This is the first review that I have written on my blog. I Want to be Like You is a memoir by someone with Asperger's. Looking back on my review, I realize that not only do I offer a review of the book, but I also shed some of my own similiar experiences that I shared with the writer. In addition, I also offer some good advice for other people with autism. I think this review is worth checking out for the advice alone.http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/1/i-want-to-be-like-you.html

Grade: A (for my review that is, not the book I'm reviewing)

Entry 27: Who We Are--This is a very interesting blog. I think I could have explained things better, but essentially what I am saying is that if we want to become someone, we can. We just have to make that decision and stick to it. However, I also mention how it is easy to revert to old patterns because that is what we are used to, and so changing and reaching your dreams requires a great deal of perserverence. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/2/who-we-are.html

Grade: A-

Entry 28: Election Results 2010--I love this entry! Here I discuss one of the most ultimate truths--we are responible for our lives and destiny. No one else is including our government. Too often people blame the world outside of them for the problems that occur within them. Some may disagree with what I say, but I think those people that do disagree will primarily be people that don't take responibility for their own actions in life. But, I could be wrong. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/3/election-results-2010.html

Grade: A-

Entry 29: Atypical: Life With Asperger's in 20 1/3 Chapters--Here is the second review that I have written on my website. Atypical is another memoir written by an individual with Asperger's and a delightful read. You should check it out. Again, I related to the story offering my own insights and comparsion and contrasts. So, by me reviewing this book, people not only learn what Atypical is about, they also learn more about me. I also discuss a fact about myself that today I might find a little embarassing. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/5/atypical-life-with-aspergers-in-20-13-chapters.html

Grade: B (again, for the review, and not the book itself)

Entry 30: Letting Go of My Ex--Wow! I really just let my heart out on this one. I showed my deepest aspects in this entry, and I think this makes that blog entry so powerful for that reason. I am impressed that I actually wrote this and shared it with the public. But, I don't regret that. I think a lot of people can relate to what I have written in this entry. It seems that my blog entries just keep getting better and better. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/6/letting-go-of-my-ex.html

Grade: A

Entry 31: A Boy in Wonderland--This is really just an update entry. Nothing too exciting and probably not worth your time reading. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/8/a-boy-in-wonderland.html

Grade: C

Entry 32: Donna Williams Interview--Something strange happened. The podcast where I interview Donna Williams seems to have vanished. :( Why that is, I don't know. It makes me a very sad Arman though. The blog entry discusses some of the topics we covered, but it is nowhere as awesome as the interview we had. :( http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/9/donna-williams-interview.html

Grade: B-

Entry 33: Autism 10 Years From Now--Here you get a lot of theories and ideas for me as to the future of autism. If you like speculating about the future, then this entry is for you. I am sure some of my predictions will come true while others will not. That is how it goes in the predicting business. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/10/autism-10-years-from-now.html

Grade: B

Entry 34: My Trip to the Moon--Here I discuss a dream I had. Um, yah. Overall, the  entry is okay, but I don't know what I was thinking writing about a dream. Honestly, who wants to read about someone's dreams? http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/11/my-trip-to-the-moon.html

Grade: C-

Entry 35: Can Someone Help Me--Here, I ask if someone can help me because I needed to get some information. This entry really doesn't discuss anything and can be easily skipped. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/12/can-someone-help-me.html

Grade: N/A

Entry 36: Harry Potter...Here I Come--Here I discuss seeing the first half of Deathly Hollows, and what do you know the second half is just about to come out. I also talk a little about my thoughts on Harry Potter. If you like Harry Potter, then maybe you would like to read this entry. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/13/harry-potterhere-i-come.html

Grade: C

Entry 37: If I Could Change One Thing About Autism....--I may have gone overboard with my opinion here, and in addition, not take into consideration the opnion of others. I do make some good points, but I feel this entry doesn't go into enough depth and take into consideration the other point of view out there. In the future, hopefully, I can make entries more representive of the autism community as a whole. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/14/if-i-could-change-one-thing-about-autism.html

Grade: C

Entry 38: My Fantasyland Into Reality--Here I show some of my more over-the-top dreams and desires. Every now and then, I have a parent who tells me they have a child out of touch with reality and thinks they will become a billionaire or some other goal the parent feels is impossible. Hear, I also show that I have some of these same goals and beliefs. Will I accomplish them. Only time will tell. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/15/my-fantasyland-into-reality.html

Grade: B-

Entry 39: Feedback--Getting your feedback is important. So, tell me, how am I doing? What can improve? What do you want to see more of? http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/16/feedback.html

Grade: N/A

Entry 40: The Story of Completing My Book: A Journey Through Time--This entry discusses the writing process for my memoir A Boy in Wonderland. I have a feeling that peopel will enjoy this entry much more once my memoir is published and they have it in their hands. http://www.empoweringautism.com/adventures-in-autism/2010/11/17/the-story-of-completing-my-book-a-journey-through-time.html

Grade: B

Well, that is all for today. It seems that at first, I had some incredible entries coming along. I really started to get into the grove of my writing and wrote some of my strongest entries ever. Never before have I have given any of my blog entries an A, but here I give two A's and two A-'s. Before, only three entries got an A-. However, it seems that as time went on, I got a bit sloppy with my writing because I handed out a lot of C's. Before, I would say that my blog was at a B-level, but as time went on, I guess I must have found it a challenge to maintain that quality. Ideally, I would only write A-quality entries. But, there you go. Anyway, I promise in the future to grade even more entries, simply because I find it fun to do.

Thanks for reading. May you have a most awesome day of awesomeness
