Our Actions Impact Everyone Around Us
Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 10:43PM When we look around the world and circumstances around the world in a negative manner and discuss how things are bad to other people, those words and actions are not only impacting ourselves but also those we are interacting with. Our words have the ability to instill beliefs into other people. If we tell someone that something is very tough, they may believe it to an extent. Also, if we say something negative but at first didn't believe it, we may start to believe it the more we talk about that negative thing.
I have become very aware of this. Sometimes, someone will start to talk about negative things. They may not even be aware that they are being negative, and in one case the person justified their negative outlook as a means of protecting. I was in the process of doing something and because of their low-esteem on the matter, they tried to relate to me on this matter in terms of fail. Because they failed, so will everyone else that does as well. However, in relation to this (which will not be named) there are those that do succeed.
Anyway, that was a tangent. What I am trying to say is that if you tell yourself that you can't do something then you can't. Also, if you tell someone they can't do something, then they might start to doubt themselves. You're planting a seed of destruction. And, the most unfortunate thing is the amount of people that don't realize they are killing many people's hopes and dreams. Sometimes, our words can really damage someone and cause them to really doubt themselves. They might go into a depression, and who knows they might even attempt to take their life. And, that is just because of the way that we choose to see the world and interact with others in regards to our belief.
If we are feeling bad about ourselves, then chances are when we meet other people we will make them also feel bad about themselves whether we mean to or not. This has nothing to do with intent and everything to do with that place we are at during that moment. I know what I am saying is true because I have witnessed it over and over, and I have felt the impact of other people's words, actions, and beliefs. And, now I am starting to realize just how powerful we are to those we interact with.
It is important to be our best selves and not just our sake but for the sake of those around us. When we raise ourselves up, we also raise up those we come in contact with. When we feel like crap and believe the world is going to Hell, we instill the same beliefs to those we come in contac with, and we make them feel like crap. Even one small sentence can have a huge impact on someone. Just one sentence that comes up in a very casual conversation.
So, with that said, I encourage you to be a role model and lead by example.
I thank you for reading todays' entry and wish everyone a most awesome day of awesomeness!

Arman,
You are an awesome inspiration. Inspiration in Latin is inspirare. The definition of inspiration is to breath life into. God uses inspirational people, like you to breathe life into others. Truly inspirational people, like yourself are very rare.
In the 17th century Baruch Spinoza said “All things noble are as difficult as they are rare.”
